Dear Elancer, We are a small IT services company based out of southern part of India. We provide IT support and services to clients based in the US via turnkey projects or staff augmentation projects. If any client woudl like to hire a staff for online assistance we generally ask the client to sign up with us via a agreement (sample attached) and physically sign it and send us the scanned copy of the same. The agreement contains the terms and conditions and the payment terms as agreed by both parties. We ran into trouble with one of our clients where the client signed our agreement and agreed to all terms, however, hasnt paid us a single penny so far. When contacted, the client always comes up with innovative reasons and promises payment, but has never kept up his words. The attached is the copy of the agreement the client has signed with us. We also have all communication (via email) with the client. We need legal advise and help on, a. Recovering the money that the client owes us, b. Recovering the interest payable on the money promised, c. Any other charges that can be recovered, d. Any advise on how do we proceed If found suitable, we may choose to hire you to handle all our legal matters in the US as we deal with only US based clients.
