Administrative Assistant - Admin - General Office - Secretary
Job Description: A local leading organization is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant â€“ Secretary â€“ General Office Clerk in Camillus for a long-term temporary to hire opportunity. Administrative â€“ Admin Assistants perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. Responsibilities for Sales Support Admin include but are not limited to the following: â€¢ Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications. â€¢ Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals. â€¢ Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs. â€¢ Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material. â€¢ Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies. â€¢ Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail or other materials and answer routine letters. â€¢ Complete forms in accordance with company procedures. â€¢ Make copies of correspondence or other printed material. â€¢ Review work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensure that company format policies are followed, and recommend revisions. â€¢ Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration: â€¢ Associates Degree in Business or related field â€¢ Minimum 5 Years of Experience â€¢ Proficiency in MSOffice, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access. Excellent organizational skills, high energy, multi tasker Pay for this position is in the range of $30k to $40k, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.
