Kforce has been retained by one of its local clients to locate a Data Center Operations Technician for a 6 month right-to-hire opportunity in the Cincinnati, OH area. This position will require someone that is flexible to work night shift hours (6:30pm to 7:00 am, 3 days a week) in a 7 x 24 team environment. Individual will train in position for approximately 2 months (may be less depending on skills and ability to pick up technologies). During this two month training, working hours will be 3:30pm to Midnight (Monday - Friday). Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays; as the 3-day work week rotates approximately every eight (8) weeks and candidate must be able to work their assigned set of days during each rotation. (Day shift openings are offered to night shift based on seniority). On-site physical staffing requirement as we are a 7x24 monitoring environment (no work from home or remote work) Qualifications include: 3 years related experience in an Operations environment UC4 monitoring/operator experience a plus Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7 Comfortable navigating virtual environments Desktop/Laptop troubleshooting experience Working knowledge or familiarity with Active Directory Basic Networking Working knowledge or familiarity of Software Deployment tools (SCCM) Blackberry\Android\iOS experience a plus Excellent troubleshooting skills Excellent customer service skills Experience using ticketing system (Service-Now) for ticket and incident management Knowledge of ITIL ITIL V3 Foundations certification a plus Ability to manage high priority bridge calls 1 - 3 years related experience in an Operations environment 1 - 3 years' experience providing technical support and 1st level application support
