Robert Arnow Designs is a boutique design firm based in DUMBO, seeking to use design to assist socially conscious and politically progressive causes and businesses. Currently seeking candidates for a 2 month contract (full time ideal, with possibility for part-time), that has the possibility of being extended in a full time job depending on the candidate's interest and skill. A good portion of the work will include assisting with and producing design for high-profile, critical political campaigns for US Congress and the New York State Legislature. We are exclusively working for the more progressive candidates, which in this case, are Democrats. The candidate MUST be extremely detail-oriented and able to move quickly with Photoshop and Illustrator. You will be working closely with Robert Arnow to: • Design and edit political mail, within and outside existing brand guidelines • Create photo illustrations and other graphics • Edit and prepare materials for print • Design, build and edit web sites (web development experience a huge plus but not required) • Assist with all design and production related tasks as needed This job may be appropriate for either a junior level candidate or a senior level candidate, though pay and responsibilities will depend on experience and skill.
