Job Description Data Analyst - SQL, Excel and Data Warehousing Charlotte, NC TOP TIER DIRECT BANKING / FINANCIAL CLIENT is looking for a Data Analyst with SQL, Excel and Data Warehousing experience: Location: Charlotte, NC Data Analyst Job Description: This position will include data analysis, and may include data extracts and support of ad hoc requests from a variety of sources. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex solutions, often using new technologies. The candidate will be expected to use data query tools, such as SAS, SQL, and Teradata SQL Assistant to pull and analyze raw data. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 7+ years of experience. Job Requirements: Must have 5+ years technical work experience doing data extraction/manipulation and analysis. Must be expert user of SQL. Experience must include using advanced functions to analyze and extract data. Experience with Teradata SQL or MS SQL Server preferred. Must have in-depth knowledge and practical experience working in adhoc data environment accessing data from multiple platforms. Ability to understand and develop business requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills required to effectively communicate the result of analyses to a diverse technical and non-technical audiences and understand their concerns.
