BS, CS or other relevant technical degree required 10+ years of experience in software development designing and implementing scalable, fault tolerant components Expert level skills developing software in C++ Clear understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and best practices Strong problem solving skills and a passion for debugging and problem investigation are a must Proficiency with at least one scripting language, (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.) Proficiency with XML/XSL frameworks a big plus Proficiency in Java a big plus Experience supporting a high volume operations environment preferred Familiarity with Git and Jira is preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills and history of working with other cross-functional teams Strong drive in ensuring code quality a big plus Experience in agile development methodologies preferred
