UK Health & Social Care Trainer/Assessor Salary £24,000 pa + 25 days holiday - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Start Date ASAP Location - Worcestershire Benefits - Laptop / Training Materials We are an ambitious leading national provider of Health & Social Care Training to the largest UK provider of Supported Living Services in the UK. As such and due to rapid expansion across our clients' needs, we are now recruiting for experienced HASC Trainers to deliver as part of our ongoing programme HASC Level 1 Preparing to Work in Adult Health & Social Care and Pre Employability over a two week course. Week 1 includes HASC Level 1 Training (Mon-Fri) and Week 2 includes Employability Skills (Mon-Thurs) Training. This is an ongoing opportunity to work with groups of up to 15 - 20 learners where there is a guaranteed interview and real career progression for those you are teaching. We are committed to delivering a skilled workforce to our client and as such are offering an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and specialist HASC training team that will work with us together in partnership with our client, to deliver candidates that are prepared to work in the supported living services sector. Our client's service users are at the very heart of everything we do and over a two week course you will teach inexperienced and experienced applicants the skills that will enable them to go on and support individual service users within our client. We are flexible as we hope you are too, our client is national and we are looking for like minded trainers that can deliver these qualities and passions to those they teach. We are not about just training but about empowering those (our candidates) to make a difference to the lives of others within our community. As such we are looking for trainers who wish to work on rolling two week programmes and take part in that is much needed as to our clients' needs/requests. As a person you will be highly motivated, confident and an individual with a good understanding of the delivery of HASC training. You will be responsible for delivering mandatory training bespoke to our client whilst including first aid, dementia, protection of vulnerable adults, and administration of meds. You will be also aware of changing legislation relating to delivery of training in these subjects and always ensure you exceed the current required standards. You will take the lead in the delivery of the training provision and help develop innovative and flexible initiatives to meet the company needs and more importantly the needs of the service users. For this opportunity you will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, be able to meet deadlines and respond to change. You will possess previous experience in the delivery of HASC training and demonstrate this though a micro teach at interview stage, ensuring our client obligations are met. Relevant training qualifications, an A1 Assessors Certificate along with a full UK drivers licence are a prerequisite as is occupational experience within this sector.
