Years of Experience & Expertise Level: Expertise Level Daily Responsibilities: Our client is a very high-visibility computer components manufacturer seeking a Component Design Engineer for a contract opportunity. Component Design Engineers are responsible for the design and development of electronic components. Responsibilities include • Documentation of specifications • Prototype construction and checkout • Modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components • Performing developmental and/or test work • Reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have a BS, MS or PHD in EE or Computer Science or related fields • Experience with RTL coding in System Verilog and UArch design • 5+ years of experience with verification coding methods using assertions • One or all the OVM/AVM/VMM verification knowledge Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): • 8+ years of experience with verification coding methods using assertions • 2+ years of experience in USB and PCIE and system bus architectures • VMM experience
