SQL DBA CPL Solutions currently have an urgent requirement for a Senior SQL DBA to work an Initial 4 month contract role for a client based in Dublin, Ireland. This position will be primarily focused in the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks of managing and supporting a large, transaction-intensive database environment Skills/Experience required: SQL Server experience with a strong relational database background Excellent performance tuning and optimisation skills Solid experience with disaster recovery methods and capacity planning Worked in a very large database environment +/- 10 TB Some Datamodelling experience SQL Server clustering T-SQL savvy Datawarehouse experience, a plus Windows 2003/2008 Server and SQL Server 2005/2008 experience Common sense and trustworthiness Ability to work well with other highly talented individuals If you are interested in the position please contact JJ McCarthy.
