The C# / .NET Systems Developer in Louisville, Kentucky has responsibilities to include problem analysis, software design, implementation and testing of features, enhancements and bug fixes. You will also be required to provide Tier III support for urgent issues that cannot be resolved by the Tier I or II support teams. You must be able to work in a collaborative environment consisting of multiple programming teams, QA, product and other management. To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications (required unless noted otherwise): 10+ years overall of deep hands-on application development and analysis experience in building complex systems 6+ years of experience developing applications using C# 6+ years relational database programming experience in SQL Server Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming techniques and Design Patterns (MVP, MVC, Factory, etc) Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process Knowledge of performance, scalability, security, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best-practices using Microsoft Solutions Ability to effectively mentor less experienced team members Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to stay abreast of new technologies, concepts, and procedures and is able to communicate the need for, and persuade the use of, these technologies to colleagues and upper management Ability to provide accurate estimates for development project/tasks Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment
