Our client, located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, is seeking a Help Desk / Desktop Support Specialist to perform the following duties: Provide first-level support via telephone, hands-on, or by email to an end user community on computer systems including hardware, software, and connectivity Answer basic questions from local and remote users, and create tickets using an issue tracking system to document requests Troubleshoot problems and facilitate resolutions via retrieval of information stored in a knowledge base or by utilizing VPN software to remotely access a computer Document issues and associated resolutions in Help Desk Software and escalate to a higher level resource if necessary Adhere to established service level agreements Performance is typically evaluated via metrics or other statistical data collected from the Help Desk Software The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 1+ years of experience in SMS or SCCM Must be able to create images and provide direction to support team (though this is not a lead or management role) Customer support experience Excellent communication skills Strong aptitude in general technologies Strong work ethic and self-motivated personality Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environment and workload
