In depth Oracle Data Base Development experience required. Computer Science Degree / Master’s preferred This high profile consulting position will be based in Central NJ. The selected candidate will have a successful track record of Oracle 11G Data Base design and development producing quality products and working independently with little supervision. Oracle DBA skills a plus, PL/SQL coding samples required for interview. Qualifications: Ten or more years of related software experience. Advanced degree in Computer Science Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle. Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry or Regulated Industry. Comprehensive and current knowledge of software development methodologies. Knowledge of technical architecture as necessary for development of software. Knowledge of appropriate programming languages as needed for development of software. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with team to obtain requirements and translate requirements into design. Expert knowledge of ORACLE 10g/11g database programming (PL/SQL, database design/architecture, data management). Expert knowledge of database modeling and concepts. Good knowledge of data warehouse modeling and concepts, including ETL processing. Expert knowledge of Oracle-related development environments (scripting, SQL Plus, TOAD, SQL Navigator, or PL/SQL Developer) Experience with Oracle database administration. Experience with Java/J2EE architecture, XML and other web technologies. Knowledge of UNIX, NT and Windows operating systems, application server and portal technologies. Must be computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail and electronic calendar knowledge and abilities. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision. Ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to mentor and lead others in development and administrative tasks. Ability to deliver high quality and high productivity.
