Company Background Our company is creating a mobile app that will allow its users to take pictures of items, add some info and post to online commerce businesses. Product Background: A Minimum Viable Product (MVP1) was designed in June 2012 that included: 1. Four screens that included the following buttons a. Welcome screen i. FAQ ii. START b. Faq screen i. BACK c. Take picture screen i. TAKE PICTURE ii. CHOOSE IMAGE iii. ADD DETAILS iv. ADD EMAIL v. SUBMIT d. Thank You screen i. DONE ii. ADD ANOTHER 2. In the backend a SERVER that accepts the submissions and automatically emails us to let us know that someone submitted a pic. Request For Proposal We are seeking proposals to assist with the redesign of the original MVP (MVP2) The redesign shall include: 1. Total redesign of the UI (examples of apps that we like are below) 2. Add functionality to the app a. Add (i) hover buttons with the correlating information b. Add direction information that appears after each photo is taken (similar to the app YardSale has after a picture is taken) c. Add at least one extra screen (maybe more) to create a more intuitive flow d. Add a payment feature (through Apple) e. Add a push notification when the service is fulfilled 3. On the server side a. Fix the email function that is not working b. Send a PUSH notification to the user when the form is ready c. Add a link in the final form to a satisfaction survey (which has been already created through SurveyMonkey) Examples of Apps We Like (.com) Download their free app to get an idea of what we like. What we like about this app is the simplicity it is to take the photos. We also like the notifications that pops up after you take a picture that offers directions like what kind of pics to take. We DON'T want to have the same old-fashioned design and look. We only want you to check out the picture taking mechanism and the notifications . Services Requested The period during which the services described herein will be performed will start upon award of contract. The contractor shall make the final version of the Iphone MVP2 available preferably before Sept 9th 2012. If this is not enough time please let us know in your submission and give us a concrete end date. The contractor will provide an unconditional service warranty to insure that the application is error free, and works as discussed. All source code and keys to external sources used and required to run the application and download the application will be the our property. Qualifications of the Contractor The contractor must have experience in Objective C, iOS application development for iPhone. The contractor should have experience with similar Iphone applications and should be able to show samples of such work. Contracted Work The Contractor herein is an independent contractor and we shall not be requested to provide liability insurance, Workers Compensation insurance or Unemployment insurance on Contractor's behalf. Contractor shall not act as an agent for our business nor shall it be deemed to be an employee for any purpose whatsoever. Contractor shall not enter into any agreement or incur any obligations on our behalf. SUBMISSION PROCESS & DEADLINE: A completed Application Packet will include the following: 1.
