Job Title: Software Engineer We have two open positions for Software Engineers: The Testbed Software Engineer will perform all aspects of implementing an integrated real-time hardware/software system testbed. Responsibilities include development o f machine-control software that interfaces with custom hardware and commercial test gear. Candidate will also b e required to contribute to the architecture, design and implementation of a laboratory testbed whi ch includes machine control and command/telemetry processin g. Experience with COTS Command/ Telemetry software such as ITOS is highly desirable. Additional desired skills include a strong understanding of how to develop high-quality re-useable code and microprocessor-based computer architectures. Required qualifications: • BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 3-5+ or more years of directly-related experience will be considered. • Ability to architect software that interfaces with a hardware system based on high-level specifications. • Fluent in LabVIEW, Matlab, C and C++ with previous experience in developing machine-control software/hardware systems. • Experience in design of complex embedded software systems and commercial/proprietary RTOS is desired. • Ability to communicate effectively with other team members . • US Citizenship . The Software System Engineer will perform all aspects of coordinating the development and ultimate system integration of reliable flight software, which includes interface control document development, configuration control, and system testing. Required qualifications: • MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5 years experience in software system engineering, preferably for space-based or aerospace applications. • Good communication skills . • Strong organizational skills . • Attention to detail . • US Citizenship .
