A Kforce Alpharetta, Georgia client is working on the next release of their Electronic Health Records and Medical Practice Management Applications and need to maximize their development velocity. In this position, you will join an Agile Team responsible for the maintenance and modification of code developed for enhancements and/or new features. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver and creative thinker; possess a healthy mix of experience with C/C++ and C#; and be comfortable working in existing code. Prior experience working as part of an Agile Scrum or Kanban Team is desired. The successful Programmer applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): A BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of industry experience C# and C/C++ experience with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented concepts Experience developing for Windows Operating Systems with MS development tools (specifically VS.NET), and with source control and task tracking tools Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; quick to get up to speed with existing code, and able to work effectively on multiple tasks Must be familiar with XML/XSLT, batch-scripting, and code generation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with VB6, Oracle, and MS-SQL will be a plus Specific Skills: C# C++ - Intermediate Level .NET code development
