Being an interior decorating business I have lots of emails and phone calls between clients and vendors and I am looking to help alleviate some of this responsibility. I need an upbeat problem solver who can communicate effectively, while being straight forward yet kind. I have a creative business that deals with a very sensitive area in my client's lives....their home. It is really important that all dealings with clients are kind. This doesn't mean that the customer is always right in my company but kindness is a must. I also need some one who doesn't mind being up front with vendors when items are late etc.... Job Description: Your responsibilities: - I need someone who is open to having a phone call with me where I can go over a list of tasks etc... I don't want to have to write out detailed emails describing what I need. It takes too much time. I will provide you with my client contacts and vendor contacts and any info you need. - Develop and maintain contact lists, agendas, meeting scheduling, routine communication and coordinate other business support activities - Folling up with vendors on items/services either via phone or email - Following up with clients and delivering progress reports via phone or email - Email management, scheduling between clients and vendors. - Perform additional tasks as they arise Your qualifications: - Experience in managing and organizing documents and schedules - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Attention to detail and ability to prioritize - A complete Elance profile - References or an established reputation on Elance preferred I am starting this position at 10 hours so I can get a handle on what I really need etc...these hours can grow depending on how well it goes.
