Technical Writer-Insurance - Infrastructure - London - Contract
My client a leading insurance organisation based in London are looking to recruit a technical writer to document technical designs within their infrastructure space. The main objective will be to document designs for the messaging and desktop teams. I am looking for experienced Technical Writer's that have 5 years plus experience ideally within financial services. The key responsibilities for this role will be:- *Documenting Design documents *Extracting and collating architectural changes from architects in relation to the specific area of responsibility e.g. Messaging Architect in the context of the Project *Facilitating technical workshops to extract the required knowledge for Project deliverables *Weekly Technical Status reporting *Deliver detailed designs to agreed timescales and quality *Issue Management *Quality Management *Defect Management The key essential skills are:- *All aspects of Messaging/Desktop in an enterprise of > 10000 seats *Design and Implementation of Exchange / Lotus Notes including Mail Routing *Design and Implementation of Lync Server (OCS, Voice etc?) *Design and Implementation of Desktop Builds including XP/Windows 7 *Design and Implementation of SCCM / App-v / MDT (Deployment Tools) *Document Writing (Structured Technical Authoring) experience - 5 Years + *Technical requirements gathering experience - 5 Years + *Issue Management *Quality Management *Communication / Presentation Skills To find out more about Real Staffing please visit www.realstaffing.com
