Senior Production Engineer - Contract - Perth - E & P The Perth oil and gas market is buzzing at the moment and one of Progressive's good clients is currently searching for a Senior Production Engineer to add to their already existing team. Working under the engineering manager, the production engineer will be in close connection with the subsurface team as well to ensure that all the joint venture projects are managed efficiently. The role: As a senior production engineer, you will be responsible for the integrity management of operators proposals and for reviewing all technical documents in relation to exploitation, optimisation and maintenance of the operator performance. Also included in the responsibilities for this position are the field performance analysis, economic modelling and any reviews of the field development proposals. This position will be based on an initial 12 month contract in Perth with the strong possibility of extension. There is also a potential for this role to convert into a permanent position. Requirements: Bachelors degree (or higher) in a relevant area of engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience as a petroleum engineer, with the most recent years focused on production engineering. Use of the software programs PEEP and Questor. Good communication skills with an ability to coordinate teams and interact well in a group environment. Background working directly for Operators or Exploration & Production companies.
