App name Blink Pocket App description Blink Pocket is a digital business card holder that allows designers to upload their original business card files to be viewed on the iPhone as 'Blinks'. Industry Technology Number of screens needed 5 Workflow description The main screens of the app we need designed: (Please refer to the attached image '99_design_BLINK_required_screens.jpg' to view the mockup screens we have for the demo we have been working on.) 1) Home: Main elements that need to be designed on this screen are: placement of the Logo, main navigation icons/nav bar, colour scheme. 2) My Blinks Directory: This area of the app appears when the user is searching through theirBlink list, this has a very similar function to the iPhone’s ‘Contacts’ area.The blue dots notify the user that a Blink card has updates available.We are open to ideas for this area! 3) Viewing Blinks: When the user is in the ‘My Blinks’ area, and they tap the Blink Card,these options appear on the screen. we would like the icons and buttonsto all have a similar look/feel to he main navigation on Homepage. 4) Contact Info Layout: The screen on the app appears when the user clicks on the‘Contact Info’ when they are viewing one of their Blinks. 5) Slideup Screen: This screen is a generic slide-up function in the app.Elements on this screen need to match the samefont, colour and feel to rest of app. Note: The app is always in a landscape orientation. NOT portrait. A lot of the functions of the app will have a similar feel to the DropBox iPhone app. A design consideration. Style/theme ideas for the mobile app This app has two main target users: 1) Business People 2) Creatives/Designers We are looking for an app that has a clean/sophisticated/modern aesthetic, and a high level of user-friendliness. As designers will be regularly using the app, the design has to abide by the latest in app design trends (don't design something from 2009!). The logo file is attached to this project, and please feel free to make any changes and enhancements if you see fit! Colour scheme of existing mockups is also open for enhancements. What to avoid - We would like to reduce the amount of text in the app, so all icons should ideally be symbols. - Stay away from native Apple iOS design elements. - Over the top fonts.
