Je functie: Your job within SWING is to provide implementation and support for a wide variety of IP network components and services. This includes network switching and routing, network security devices and IP telephony. Activities related to these components include : Incident and problem management : you will be in charge to provide specialised network support activities for the network components in scope, analysing specific network behaviours and develop short term (tactical – corrective) and long term (strategic) solutions. Change management: document, assess and implement parameter changes on the in scope components following the stated network change processes. Lifecycle management : for the in scope components, develop the necessary lifecycle activities to assure the required service availability. Coordination : Swing, being in charge of the overall health and availability of the global network, your role will include coordination activities between various technical network entities of the group, in order to implement, resolve and document the global network. Je profiel: · You have a higher degree (complemented with specific network related certifications) and 4 years experience in the IP network domain · You have good, practical knowledge in IT networking principles, topologies and have hands on experience on the common network components such as switches, routers, firewalls, proxies,loadbalancers, VOIP and IPTel servers and peripherals · You have good working experience on common protocols for network routing, high availability, etc. · You are communicative, results driven, enjoy team work, can work autonomously in a proactive way and have attention for details. · You are service minded towards your clients. · You are flexible and ready to go the extra mile. You will work occasionally outside office hours · As you will work in an International multicultural environment based in Brussels, you are fluent in English and French. You will have to – occasionally – travel to facilities in other cities such as London and Paris. English + good comprehension of French language
