Accounts Payable Clerk - Part Time, 3 Month Fixed Term Contract We are seeking to recruit a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk on a 3 month Fixed Term Contract based at our Cottingley site.Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Clerk will work as part of a team processing and paying purchase ledger invoices including matching these with orders raised. Key Accountabilities: · Opening post, scanning and verifying invoices onto the system. · Investigate rejected invoices and liaising with supplier and purchasing department. · Monthly supplier statement reconciliations including resolving any issues on outstanding amount on either the supplier’s or Magnet’s ledgers. · Filing of all manually entered invoices. · Batch and input invoices/credits on to IFS purchase ledger system. · Provide general admin support that might be required within the team. Previous Experience: · Previous Purchase Ledger experience and worked in a busy office environment · Ability to work to strict deadlines · High level of accuracy and attention to detail · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Familiarity with Accounting Systems, Word and Excel is essential · Experience using Oracle is desirable but not essential · Team Player · Able to work flexibly under pressure Benefits: Holiday entitlement will be 23 days per year pro rata increasing to 25 days following completion of 5 years service and contributory company pension scheme, discount on range of Company products, extensive training and induction programme.
