Role Summary: The post holder is responsible for; Operating in a manner consistent with the company values, policies and procedures and working to deliver the Company’s long term vision and business goals. Support in the management Skills funding Agency contract relating to delivery of Key Skills and Apprenticeships Relationships Reports to: Centre Manager Responsible for: All staff within their area of responsibility Close Liaison with: Operations Directors Head of Work Based Learning Regional Operations Managers National Implementation Manager Contracts Managers Group Functional Managers (Accounts/ Payroll/ Training/ Marketing) Senior Managers of other Divisions within the company/ group Health and Safety Manager Key client contacts Standards of Performance The post holder is accountable for the following; ·Conduct Enrolments and confirm eligibility of candidates enrolling on a funded Programme ·Fully complete the ILR and liaise with the Data Manager ·Induct candidates onto Prime Time funded programme ·Conduct a Skill Scan of each candidate ·Issue all relevant portfolios and workbooks ·To assist Apprenticeship candidates in portfolio preparation to the standard required ·To assess candidates within their workplace ·To provide appropriate learning support to enable effective assessment and learning ·To provide candidates with feedback from assessment ·To liaise with Internal Verifiers, External Verifiers, Awarding Bodies, Line Manager, Candidates and employers as required ·Assess candidate’s written work and cross reference to the awarding body criteria ·Monitor deadlines which are set for completion of work and progress towards achievement ·Update candidate programme status in MI system Key Competencies in the Role The post holder is considered competent when the standards shown below are being achieved in the following key competency areas; 1. Team Work Key Area 1: Training and Self Development To provide support and guidance to all learners whilst delivering the Apprenticeship. All assessors must undertake all preparation, administration and assessments associated with support of Apprenticeship candidates. Assessors must participate in Prime Time Recruitment development programmes and maintain all CPD activities carried out relating to the assessor role which could include reading, shadowing or attending meetings or training events. Hold a current knowledge and understanding of all Frameworks been delivered under their remit Key Area 2: Managing Candidates Giving constructive and positive feedback to the candidate’s throughout their learning development. Discussing health and safety aspects of the working environment and complying with equal opportunities at all times with the candidates Key Area 3: Administration Assessors need to be able to induct candidates to the funded programme completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time to the standard of both the company and the awarding body. You will also be competent in signing off Apprenticeships after all requirements have been met, and to deliver files on time to both the internal and external verifiers. Key Area 4: Making an impact Assessors must be able to demonstrate a "can do" attitude, and works well on own using own initiative. Being able to show confidence in making your own decisions and being able to focus on what is important rather than just the urgent. Key Area 5: Team Work Must be able to contribute to a supportive working environment with a positive attitude and willingness to participate. Able to seek advice and support from peers and colleagues and provide support to other colleagues outside the sector of their job role when required.
