Job Title: Account Specialist, Sr Job ID: 15380 Location: Southfield, MI, US Full/Part Time: Regular/Temporary: Regular Line of Business:Epsilon About the Opportunity The Sr. Account Specialist’s primary goal is to provide an innovative approach towards account development. The result will include a client recommendation as well as the timely review of available results. The will be accomplished through leadership, consultation and coordination with the sales, production team and other available resources. Responsibilities Provides clear bjectives, expectations and feedback for client, sales force and operations resources Uses a systematic process to coordinate order management responsibilities with AE and Technician team Proactively plans and coordinates regular meetings with appropriate team members to review forecasts, upcoming orders, client specific operational documentation, custom programming requests and jobs in progress Provides direction or feedback as needed on priorities and execution of jobs in progress Promotes team ownership of workload and projects through follow-up and constructive feedback with team members Promotes positive can do attitude by assuming positive intent Aligns one’s behavior with values and goals of organization Promotes best practices for products and services Coaches and mentors co-workers of lesser experience Conducts sections of new hire training/Account Specialist training as needed Order Management: Manage order from OMS through shipment ensuring that best practices are followed and guidelines for model quality are met. Ensure consistency between orders Bridge between Sales and Technician forming strong partnerships Track forecasting and work with AE daily to proactively manage workload Clarify recommendations with sales through Model Order Review Process Map out modeling strategy with AE and review timelines Troubleshoot OMS orders and provide clarification to technicians on fulfillment orders provided by AE/Client Monitor jobs in progress to ensure timely delivery of orders; escalate to management any jobs at risk of missing ship dates Identification of optimal CHAID break selection criteria with AE Advise Client Services on model builds, identify alternative options for problem models Understanding modeling concepts and application; especially for Abacus[ONE] jobs, including best practices and guidelines in relationship to client strategy Schedule review of modeling strategy with AE and other resources as needed for Abacus[ONE] and FastPath jobs Responsible for providing quality control of model summaries, automated mail tape model variables and variables of new tests or research models Actively participate in Tactical or Data audit reviews for assigned accounts Sales backup for RECO submission when sales is traveling or on PTO up to 5 days Provide project level leadership for production teams on jobs in progress or research by meeting with and reviewing progress and overall timelines to ensure accuracy and on time delivery Facilitate research for sales: Document and implement Account Executive research requests upon request Provide follow-up with resources to assure deadlines are met for research requests Present findings and recommendations to clients in a professional manner Proactively pursue opportunities to review individual account performance Leverage account experience and provide relevant input by market for account development Maintain knowledge of titles, markets and verticals Help AE prepare for client meetings Maintain knowledge of Abacus products and best practices Collect required information for tactical reviews for assigned accounts and actively participate in review process Account Management Client Recommendation Support Generation of Analysis Based Campaign Recommendations Develop client campaign specific recommendations by aligning research with client results and current marketing strategy while promoting best practices for products and solutions Participate in client meetings/conference calls, reviewing research and presenting recommendations Promote the Abacus[ONE] solution Synergy Selection Provide support to Account Specialist or Account Executives in new synergy selections Maintain and update existing synergy tables adhering to synergy selection guidelines Attend and participate in synergy and catalog/offer review meetings File Management Contacts service bureaus to obtain non-update files Log in files into system and convert appropriately Manage mail tapes through intake and coordinate conversion with MTC Ensure correct files are entered into OMS, correct # of files and quantity verified Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred A minimum of three years experience in Account Specialist role In depth knowledge of database marketing and list processing Must be able to think strategically, as well as being detail oriented Service Bureau experience or any combination of Direct marketing education and experience a plus Circulation experience a plus Strong Leadership Skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills Computer literacy is required including UNIX, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer Individual required to be self-motivated and able to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment Must exhibit sound decision making in order management process Perform job duties with minimal supervision Be able to coordinate multiple tasks and manage multiple projects Ability to effectively coordinate and utilize resources across the company Obtain and maintain current working knowledge of Abacus clients, products, and systems Be able to think creatively and search for “out-of-the-box” solutions to problems Demonstrate a consistent track record of on-time delivery and accuracy Interfaces / Metrics (if applicable): Meet or exceed expectations in support of department objectives including: Accuracy – Credits/Folder Audits On Time Delivery -Average Processes per business vertical Effective Teams Accountability, Communication and Teamwork Continual Process Improvement Compensation and Benefits Alliance Data offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive selection of benefit options including 401(k).
