Main purpose of the role: Cheering Scope will have a designated cheer spot on the running part of the course at the ExceL Centre. On the day there will be a cheer co-ordinator to assist you and we will provide all volunteers with light refreshments, a scope t-shirt and cheer sticks! Not only is cheering is a really fun and rewarding experience; it makes a huge difference to the motivation of our runners to have people cheering them on. Range of tasks to be carried out: Attending Scope's designated cheer spot on time and making lots of noise in support of our worthy participants. Location: Excel Centre which is connected to the Jubilee Line at Canning Town. The nearest train station- Stratford. Skills required: High energy, enthusiasm and ability to make a loud noise Support: You will be provided with a full brief in advance of the event. You will receive a cheer pack containing a Scope t-shirt, cheer sticks and light refreshments. There will be a Scope cheer spot team leader to support you on the day.
