Extract Data from Email into Excel Automatically
I want to be able to automatically extrapolate information from an email on daily basis. The email is received daily and contains production estimates for the forthcoming seven days. It is possible to receive multiple emails on the same day; if there have been revised production estimates. The email is consistently formatted and therefore quite easy to work with. I want to extrapolate data from the body of the email and output this info into an excel file in a fixed location (i.e. C:\Prodiction). The excel file-name will include the date and time-stamp in order to make it unique. The file type will be csv. The core function of the code shall be to identify the estimated production targets for today. This is quite straightforward as the first item in each row within the email is the date. The macro must automatically run each time a new 'estimates' email is received. I don't believe this to be an overly complicated task for an experienced and competent coder. I'd prefer candidates with good English skills who have worked on similar projects previously. This is the first of many similar sized upcoming projects I will be adding here. Keywords: Excel
