Our Seattle client is looking for a Software Developer to join their growing team! This position is responsible for integrating results from external automated systems into an in-house controlled vocabulary. This requires designing and developing tools to manage long running workflows, working with cloud-based services, and integrating data into an existing system. Duties: * Follow agile or lean methodologies or approaches * Help identify and then deliver assigned discrete development tasks as part of feature development teams * Work independently to plan and develop solutions while coordinating with technical teams for design and code reviews and deploying code to production Software Developer Qualifications: * Requires 2 years experience as a Software Development Engineer using Microsoft .Net (C#), and Windows technologies: * Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is strongly recommended * Development of database schema and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server * Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills * Experience with agile or lean project management methodologies * Ability to plan, execute, and deploy development work. Including presenting code and design review to senior staff * Experience with unit test patterns and practices, including test driven development approaches * Experience working with the business to accurately capture and implement required functionality
