Graphic Designer 3-Month, Contract (possibility of becoming a full-time, regular position) Business-to-business (B2B) marketing agency with focus on information technology and healthcare technology markets seeking a creative graphic designer that works in both traditional print and new web media . This person will work closely with our executive management team to design and develop marketing communications for our growing agency to improv e our brand recognition and win new strategic client accounts . The i deal candidate will have 2 -5 years of experience in an agency setting an d meet the qualifications below: · Uses photography, illustration, grid structures, and other graphical elements to produce work that invoke s emotion and engages viewers · Should have a keen eye for typography and unders tand how to establish hierarchy and balance · Must possess a strong attention to detail, and the flexibility to balance multiple projects with different requirements (i.e., multitask) , ensuring the meeting of project deadlines · Can communicate design concepts and explain the thinking behind aesthetic choices to both internal team members and clients · Proven ability to develop creative messaging themes and promotional campaign concepts · Should have significant experience in web design and user interface design , and the ability to hand code basic HTML/CSS/ JavaScript · Experience in designing email campaigns, web-based advertisements (such as web banner ads) and other web-based promotional tools · Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Acrobat · Experience designing for PowerPoint and the latest web-based presentation tools (ex: Prezi) a plus · Comfortable in a deadline-driven team environment · Should be fluent in Microsoft Word , Microsoft Outlook , and a Windows 7 operating system.
