Immediate contract opportunity for Drupal Developer with Exclusive Direct Client in Queens, NY. Responsibilities The Drupal Developer will be a member of the Web Team and will be responsible for the development and editing of Drupal modules and themes, in collaboration with several team mates. Tasks will include developing and maintaining a system for sites and subsites, creating themes for the front end user and various admin roles, integrating Drupal sites with other CMS, such as Jahia and IBM products, conducting data migration and performing system administration tasks. As well, the Developer will be involved in the creative and conceptual development of several internal and external websites. A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in Drupal development. Competencies • Extensive experience with developing and customizing Drupal themes and templates; • Extensive experience with creating and maintaing large-scale Drupal websites; • Extensive experiences with web development tools including PHP and Drush, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and MySQL; • Experience in web development project management; • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN; • Some familiarity with Java; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Strong work ethic, flexibility and capacity to work in a team; • Shows enthusiasm and creativity when assigned challenging tasks.
