The overall goal of the project is to develop a plugin for MMPPF (http://smf.codeplex.com/) that will be able to parse and render CEA-608 and CEA-708 closed captions(CC). The CC raw data will be coming in as sparse data in the fragmented smooth stream. Most of the heavy-lifting tasks such as parsing and rendering the CEA-608/708 closed captions are already done in a set of components, and this assembly contest will be responsible for integrating all finished components, merge them into one single Visual Studio project, and configure an MMPPF player which can use the MMPPF plugin for parsing and rendering 608/708 closed captions.
