JOB OPPORTUNITY Web & Blog Content Specialist Palmer Advertising is a full-service boutique advertising and marketing agency located in San Francisco & the Central Valley. We are currently celebrating 25 years of helping clients become more successful. We are looking to add a creative & savvy freelance content creator to the team. Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in journalism, English, communications or related field. Experience: - 2-3 years of content writing for an agency or related industry -- preferred. - Comfortable with researching content and ideas independently as well as in a team setting. Responsibilities: - Content writing and editing including call-to-action statements, headlines, page titles & descriptions. - Strong writing skills with a marketing & tech-savvy tone. - Must research and create 2 general marketing blog posts per month (400-500 words). Please note some articles and topics will be given to you for guidance. - Must research and create 2 specific vertical blogs for financial and automotive marketing industry per month (400-500 words). Please note some articles and topics will be given to you for guidance. - Keep up on ALL industry trends & news in social media, traditional and digital marketing & have fun with it. - Be an expert on the subjects for which you are creating content. - Should have the ability to write professionally and creatively, but also create content that is engaging for an audience in a conversational tone. - Always thinking one step ahead of the industry. Compensation: May be by the word (4-7 cents per word), or by the article - compensation dependent on experience and samples submitted.
