London's newest film & television studio, Wimbledon Studios is looking to recruit a part-time Barista to become part of the studio's growing catering department. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, presentable and well spoken Barista to provide support in our very busy and often high pressured coffee shop for 7 hours a day on both Saturday and Sunday on a temporary basis spanning the six weekends starting Saturday 22nd September to Sunday 28th October. Applicants will normally be required to work from 9.00am - 4.00pm. We are looking for a good team member with excellent customer service and a friendly nature as our clients are often high profile production teams with expectations of the highest quality standards. Previous experience of working independently and in a food/retail environment or as a Barista is essential. Duties will include: - serving customers - making coffees and sandwiches - maintaining the coffee shop ensuring it is presentable and confirming to health and safety standards - following all in house policies - assisting in the storage and disposal of leftover food products - assisting in reviewing the coffee shop inventory and working with the studio's Head of Catering to estimate what foods/stock are required The successful applicant will need to be available to start on Saturday 22nd September and must live locally to the studio.
