Please Note: you must be eligible for SC (Secret Level) Security Clearance. The contract is initially for 6 months (ongoing after). The hourly rate is �41.50 per hour C / C++ Software Engineers - Job Description: Development of simulation systems and Software to support the testing of complex software based subsystems. To undertake a full range of software engineering activities in line with relevant processes, quality and other requirements, supplying specialist advice and support across projects, other business units and customer as appropriate. The role will involve integration testing with the equipment under test and suitable skills in this area is expected. A Software Engineer capable of design and development of test system or Simulation software and testing of such systems software. Degree qualified or equivalent (computing, software, or related) Good working knowledge of current test orientated, PC based, programming environments including National Instruments� LabWindows/CVI and LabView for Defence based systems. Knowledge of the Serena Dimensions configuration management system Knowledge of Mil-Std-1760C for the Simulation Software Roles Knowledge of IntervalZero RTX and National Instruments LabWindows CVI for the test equipment roles.
