This position can be a Remote, Work-From-Home, opportunity. A client of TEKsystems is looking to add a Predictive Analytics Project Specialist to their team. The candidate will be responsible for providing senior leadership with solutions for a vast array of technical challenges within our client's operations environment. This individual will work on a small team of high performing technologists to implement next generation predictive analytics tools. This individual will be required to support Executive Management in the deployment of an advanced predictive analytics tool set. The individual will be responsible for tracking all aspects of the project and working with external groups to access the data needed for the project's success. The individual will be able to set dates for completion of project tasks and drive the resources required to complete them. The position requires knowledge of multiple disciplines, individual is required to be understand the basics of these technologies, Blue Stripe, UNIX and Wintel Servers, Databases (oracle or DB2, mysql), Web services software, Load Balancing, SAN, Enterprise Monitoring Tools, Java Application Software, IP traffic analysis and statistics. Strong six-sigma and project management skills are a must. We are considering candidates that have the following: 10+ years experience in a heterogeneous computing environment supporting business critical infrastructure, monitoring and performance tools. Experience successfully completing mission critical projects on-time and on-budget. Experience in a large company, dealing with more disciplined processes.
