A well established Financial Services firm is actively looking for a Senior Informatica Developer with Informatica or Microstrategy experience with recent Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence expertise with good SQL and Oracle database experience to join a progressive Data Warehouse team for a 6 month Contract-to-Hire. The successful candidate needs to be able to work well with minimal supervision and to engage on Data Services and Business Intelligence projects, understand scope and objectives, design, develop/ modify, test, deploy moderate to complex technical solutions to meet the project objectives. Conduct analysis, write business/technical specifications, test scripts, and create other project related documentation for assigned projects. Trouble-shoot Production issues and provide consultative support to business units. Provide consultative input to project leads on application/solution design options. Explore and recommend emerging technologies and techniques to support/enhance the Data warehouse and Business Intelligence services like Data integration, Data services, Master data management, Business Intelligence and Advanced analytics. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience Experienced with data warehouse concepts of data modeling, ETL and business intelligence. Proficient in working with relational databases and use of SQL. Experience with Oracle DB preferred. Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and use them proficiently to meet the department goals Experienced with use of programming languages and techniques for business process automation. Experienced with and able to develop expertise in data warehouse tools like Microstrategy and Informatica. Experience working in all phases of software SDLC (software development life cycle) Excellent analytical, communication skills (both oral and written), and interpersonal skills are required. Experience with Financial industry desired. Annuities or Mutual Funds experience preferred. Ability to work with minimal supervision
