Our client's IT systems help support the trading of items such as derivatives, swaps and fixed income products. Our client's position in London will further benefit as the banking world adjusts to a more regulated and structured environment. As a highly established and one of just two preferred suppliers to this client we have been asked to recruit a contract JAVA Developer with specific market risk applications proficiency. This individual is needed to work as a Java software engineer, supporting and enhancing existing software components in connection with the Risk business stream within an agile development environment. The role will provide exposure to all aspects of the project development lifecycle: requirements establishment, technical specification, coding, testing, implementation and post-implementation intra-day and overnight application support. The role would ultimately suit a flexible individual who can think on their feet and who enjoys being part of a multi talented cross functional agile team.
