This is one of three options for the fourth and final stage of the Second Poetry Tournament. You must enter two, and only two, out of the three contests in this stage. You must be signed up for the tournament to enter. All of the contests in this stage run concurrently. This stage provides a final opportunity to show your stuff. ------ There have been four rounds of this poetry tournament, with twelve different contests, and you've always had some sort of rules to follow. Until now. In this contest, anything goes--paeans, ballads, sonnets, shape poetry, free verse--if you can write it, we can vote on it. Now's your chance for fame and immortality, or at least a pat on the back from the denizens of Writing. The rules of the game are thus: Write a poem in any form, on any topic. Hit list: There is no hit list, but experience has shown that entries of haikus, limericks, ditties, and the like need to be very, very, good to score well. Keep in mind that profanity is not acceptable. All entries must be in accordance with our text rules and guidelines. As always, quality is a must.
