This position represents an opportunity to gain valuable experience working in the arts industry on behalf of one charity and one freelance consultant: Omnibus is a new charity preparing to transform the old library building in Clapham Old Town into an inspiring centre for the arts. The Volunteer Fundraising Assistant will work with the General Manager in raising funds from a variety of sources, including trusts, statutory, individuals and corporates. Kath Cockshaw is a freelance consultant working on fundraising projects for a range of individuals and organisations in the arts industry. The Volunteer Fundraising Assistant will assist Kath with this work. Some of the work of the Volunteer Fundraising Assistant will involve shared projects between Omnibus and Kath, hence the successful candidate will gain experience of managing important internal communications.
