DeadRatGames wrote the original iOS app Empire Ascendant over two years ago, it's time for an update! We've update the graphics and code base to iOS 5 with ARC, so the project is at about 80% completion already. Due to other urgent products we had to put this on the back burner and have not been able to get back to it. Fans are clamouring for the next release so we've decided to outsource the last bit to get it out to market. Please download the current free version of the app to check out what we're working with. This isn't just another contract to you, it's a passion. - Can work with Xcode programming in Objective C - This game is written in Cocos2D. You need to know cocos2d or you won't have a fraction of the productivity necessary. - Knows Github well enough to pull a repo and push a completed project - Preferably someone who knows Pivotal Tracker or can at least pick it up relatively quickly.(It's easy, but not necessary) Project Milestones: - Add Orbital Space stations - Add occasional Random wandering space monsters - Add fun - Add in-app purchase screen and in-app purchase to upgrade to Full Version and unlock non-lite features - Add an improved tutorial to explain how to play - Identify and fix bugs - Improve graphical effects for weapons, shields and special systems - At the end, deliver a finished, polished app ready to upload to the App Store - We're estimating apx. 40-50 hours worth of work will be involved. If a dev can show us some improvements that we feel will make the game more profitable, marketable or simply more fun, we can extend the contract for such worthwhile investment. - After completion we'll be outsourcing the graphics update, audio updates and localization separately.
