PROJECT MANAGER - CREATIVE ENGLAND
Creative England is the first dedicated development agency for the creative industries outside London. We develop and grow talent; boosting the capacity of businesses to grow and thrive in the international marketplace; consulting with and providing a strong unified voice on behalf of the creative sector. We are looking to recruit the following key role to join our team: THE ROLE PROJECT MANAGER: Creative England are looking for an experienced project manager to help set up and deliver an ambitious creative business investment programme, funded by the Regional Growth Fund. The programme is focused on delivering finance to creative companies to help them create new content which will support the growth of their business. You will work with the Programme Director to set this project up from scratch. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: *Develop the project structure *Set up processes *Oversee development and delivery of a communication campaign *Oversee the application process YOU WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE OF: *Setting up projects from scratch *Managing budgets *Setting up timelines and milestones *Overseeing marketing and communications *Organising events and distributing communication information *Writing copy *Engaging businesses/customers into new projects *Handling enquiries EXTRA QUALITIES: You should be a great communicator, enthusiastic, organised, with excellent attention-to-detail and keen to engage creative business people with the programme. You must be willing and able to travel. You will be a self-starter. Although you will be working closely with the Programme Director, you will need to build a complete understanding of how the project will work, and take responsibility for many aspects of the project's delivery. Ideally you will have a good understanding of the creative sector in the south west and be able to communicate with businesses about the programme at an informed level. An understanding of the business demands for support especially regarding investment would be an advantage.
