I have about 3400 mp3s scattered in my music directory that I have accumulated over the years. The file names on many of them need to be changed so that they look more uniform. For example, I would like 01_-_phil_collins_-_take_me_home.mp3 renamed to "Phil Collins - Take Me Home.mp3" I have tried renamer programs in the past and they seem to work out OK, but some of the files always seem to slip through the cracks and do not get renamed properly due to the file starting out with a non uniform file name. I would also like the id3 tags on each file edited to reflect the proper information. And lastly, I want individual directories created for each artist and the files put into their respective directories. I would send you all of the mp3 files on several DVD's or perhaps a memory stick and you could return them to me in the same manner. I could also upload them somewhere via FTP or something and then download after the job is complete, the total size is somewhere around 25gb I think.
