Understanding Race The app is going to be a mobile teaching tool that promotes an anthropology exhibit called Understanding Race. The app will be a slimmed down (and much cleaner) port of their online website: http://www.understandingrace.org We're not porting the entire website, just a few main features: History: - Interactive Timeline (lets the user scroll and navigate to historical dates spread across the timeline.) - Timeline Movie (embedded movie) Human Variation: (These will be page presentations the user will scroll through. Just like a slideshow) - Human Spectrum - Our Molecular Selves (Presentation + Movie) - Race + Human Variation - Only Skin Deep Race in 60 Seconds: -Ten 60 second embedded videos Resources: - Glossary (list of terms with a search engine to search for topics) - Tour Schedule - Related Websites (Simple url links) Applicants should first put together a quick breakdown of price/where time will be spent on development in the project.
